Our P1 children enjoyed their final morning of the STEM Aware programme at Gillygooley PS. They observed the time it took for ice cubes to melt on different surfaces. After our break and playtime they observed the colours created when food colouring was dropped onto ice cubes. The highlight of the morning was our boat race. The children used the cork boats we made last week and blew their boats along the channels. We had a very exciting morning with our friends in Gillygooley!
