Easter Celebrations!

13th Apr 2022

🐣Pupils enjoyed a festive day as they prepare for the Easter Holidays.

🙏🏻Primary 7 led the school through a poignant Assembly retelling the events of Holy Week from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday. Well done on your terrific reading, acting and beautiful singing children, it was a very meaningful Assembly children.

🐣The Easter Raffle and PSG Jersey Raffle followed the Assembly, with lots of excitement and fun!

👏Thank you for your most generous contributions to all our fundraising over the past few days. We have been overwhelmed with your continued generosity. Our School Council raised a magnificent £544.50 for Trocaire through the East Egg Raffle and Bun Sale. This is a magnificent amount, so thank you!

🧁Sincere appreciation also, to all those families who baked and donated buns, and to Michelle and Niall McCullagh for the Easter Eggs for the draw and individual pupils. Your support does not go unrecognised.

🔴⚪️ Our Parents Support Group would also like to thank you all for their support. The 'Tyrone Jersery Draw' raised a super £700 and we were delighted to welcome Tyrone Player Richie Donnelly today to the school, to draw the winning name of Aisling Kelly! Congratulations to the Kelly Family! Thanks to Claire Corcoran who donated the Jersery and to Nuala Teague for coordinating the draw.

🎥🍿Finally, our Movie Day raised another superb amount of £378 for the Parents Support Group! Sincere thanks Claire for purchasing the drinks and sweets, and to Kieran Howe who donated the Popcorn. Thanks also to Anne and Gerard from the pSG who attended and organsied the treats for today.

🐣🐰We hope your children had a truly super day!
